To say good-bye to this summer, we took advantage of the beautiful weather and had a bonfire Saturday evening. Ed, Rachel, and Luke Wilson ("Luke the human boy" as the twins call him so as to not confuse him with our dog Luke) and our friend Monica, who just joined a traveling salsa-dancing group that competes all over the world, joined us for the evening. Ava was bundled up like Nanook of the North, but we all stayed toasty warm by the fire. Even though she slept through most of it, I did see her catch a quick peek at the fire here and there. Fun was had by all, and a little fun was had at Ava's expense - obviously that was my beer, not hers, but it made for a funny picture!
